COTA (Council of the Arts) was established in 1983 with three primary objectives:

To promote the performing, visual, and creative arts for the enjoyment of all owners and residents of ALT.

To foster and encourage participation of owners and residents in such art activities and programs in ALT.

To support in appropriate ways community activities that benefit ALT families.
To achieve these objectives, COTA has produced Variety Shows, Cabarets, Spring Musicals and Plays, Fall Plays, Open Mike Nights, Concerts in the Park, a Murder Mystery Dinner and Melodramas.
Members have also participated in other ALT activities by having floats in the ALT's Independence Day Celebration Parades, manning food booths at the Independence Day festivities, and participating in the ALT Christmas Tree Lighting. COTA has also assisted Northside School Band by funding instrument acquisition and repair.
Every resident is encouraged to attend the monthly meeting held in the ALT Barnloft, on the first Tuesday of each month, at 7 PM, to learn about our club or become an active participant in our activities. For additional information, please call: Dennis 510-734-3429
